StashKo (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a cloud storage application that allows users to back up and access their media. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

Information We Collect

  • Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password.
  • Media Uploads: You may upload photos and videos. These files are stored securely and associated only with your account.
  • Usage Data: We may collect basic technical information (device type, app version, log data) to improve app performance and security.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the storage service.
  • Authenticate and secure your account.
  • Improve app performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Communicate with you (e.g., verification emails, important updates).

Third-Party Services

We use a few trusted third-party providers to power and support our app. These services do not have access to your personal information unless strictly necessary:

  • Firebase (Google LLC) – used for authentication. Only your email address is stored here, and a unique user ID (UID) is generated to link with your account.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) – provides infrastructure and secure content delivery. No personal information is stored or processed here.
  • Wasabi Technologies, Inc. – used solely as cloud storage for your uploaded photos and videos. No personal information is shared with Wasabi.
  • PayMongo Philippines, Inc. – our payment processing partner that enables payments through GCash, PayMaya, and credit/debit cards. PayMongo may collect and process the payment details you provide when you subscribe or make purchases.

These providers are contractually and legally required to keep any data they handle secure and confidential.

How We Share Your Information

  • We do not sell or share your personal information or your media.
  • We may disclose your information and media if required by law.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information.

Data Retention

We retain your account data and uploads for as long as you have an account. You may delete your account at any time to remove your data.

Billing Records

We do not store your payment card or wallet details. All payment processing is handled securely by our payment partner, PayMongo.

In our system, we only keep a reference to your payments (such as your account ID and the PayMongo transaction ID) for accounting and reconciliation purposes.

These records are retained even if you delete your account, but they do not contain personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in-app or on our website with a revised “Effective Date.”
